Antares Hotel Zermatt

They made us feel welcome and were always ready to assist with any questions or concerns we had. The hotel's location was perfect for our ski vacation. We enjoyed the fine view of the mountains, especially when the sun was shining and we could see the peaks in all their glory.

The shower temperature was a bit difficult to regulate and would fluctuate, a bit frustrating. The breakfast offered at the hotel was a bit expensive for what was provided.

The hotel is conveniently located near the cable car station, providing easy access to the smaller-Matterhorn areas and optimal ski areas. It is also next to the Furi express, allowing for a seamless skiing experience. The rooms were adequately sized and the bathrooms are being updated to provide a more modern feel. The staff was friendly and helpful, even meeting us on time at the train station. The breakfast offered a variety of options and the views from the balcony were stunning.

Some facilities in the hotel were old and in need of repair.

We had a wonderful stay at Antares! The room itself was comfortable and clean, with excellent towels provided. Despite the small size of the room for two people, we still found it cozy. The hotel took care of us, driving us back to the train station in their own electric car. Although there were some issues with the front desk being unmanned upon arrival, they had left our key and paperwork at reception and provided a 24-hour phone number for any concerns. we had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

Great location near Matterhorn Express gondola, attentive staff, clean rooms, beautiful woodwork, spa with various amenities.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful, arranged a taxi for us from the train station and allowing us an early check-in and early breakfast. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the main cable car ski station to the glacier paradise. We were also able to easily reach the main shops and restaurants in the city by local transport or on foot. The room was clean and tidy, with a amazing view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of items and the restaurant staff were friendly and kind.

Almost perfect. The hotel could benefit from updating the outdated outlook and renewing the carpeting in the rooms.

The value for money at this hotel is excellent. With reasonable prices and attention to detail, it's a great choice for budget-conscious travelers. The location is also a major plus, as it's within walking distance of the train station and just a stone's throw from the cable car station. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the rooms offer superb views of the Matterhorn from the balcony. The hotel has recently refurbished the small bathrooms with very nice modern facilities. Additionally, the breakfast spread is extensive and includes a stunning view of the Matterhorn.
